Xperia 1 is much better than HTC Wildfire X, having an 82.6 score against 72.7. The Xperia 1 design is somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker than the HTC Wildfire X. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a much more vibrant display than HTC Wildfire X, because it has a little larger screen, a lot higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a much higher screen pixel density.
