Galaxy A51 is much better than the Huawei Ascend Mate7, having an 85.5 score against 68.3. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the Galaxy A51 has the newer 11 version and Huawei Ascend Mate7 has Android 4.4, so it gives lots of additional features and better performance. The Galaxy A51 body has the same thickness than the Huawei Ascend Mate7, but it is just a little lighter.
Huawei Ascend Mate7 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A51, although it has a just a bit less pixels per screen inch, a quite smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px. Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei Ascend Mate7, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB and more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 features just a little better processing power than Huawei Ascend Mate7, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A51 takes greater pictures and videos than Huawei Ascend Mate7, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a way better (4K) video quality and a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
The Huawei Ascend Mate7 has a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy A51, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy A51 is also cheaper.
