The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is better than Huawei Ascend Mate7, with a general score of 83 against 70.6. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei Ascend Mate7 has Android 4.4, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Note8 features a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Ascend Mate7, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB and more internal storage. The Huawei Ascend Mate7 has greater battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 takes much better pictures and videos than Huawei Ascend Mate7, because although it has a lower 12 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger camera aperture to take better low-light photos and video.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs the same than the Huawei Ascend Mate7.
