Microsoft Surface Duo is slightly better than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, getting a 78.8 score against 74.2. Microsoft Surface Duo's construction is noticeably newer and notably thinner than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite's, but it's also extremely heavier. The Microsoft Surface Duo has a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a really bigger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1800 x 2700.
Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 10 Lite counts with just a bit bigger storage to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Microsoft Surface Duo counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because it has a 7% more battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 10 Lite shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting images and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite also counts with a way more MP back-facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei Mate 10 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Duo, otherwise you can save some money and get the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, giving up a couple specifications.
