Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 10 Lite's global score of 74.2. The Galaxy Alpha is a way lighter and somewhat thinner cellphone than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, although it has a quite inferior pixel number in each screen inch, a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 720px and a much smaller display.
Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Huawei Mate 10 Lite features much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that supports up to 256 GB.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite features a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3340mAh battery size instead of 1860mAh. Galaxy Alpha captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because although it has a lot worse resolution camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with a much better (4K) video quality.
Although Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei Mate 10 Lite. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Alpha, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, letting go a couple specs and features.
