Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is better than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite's 74.2 overall score. Even being the best phone in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier phone than Huawei Mate 10 Lite. The Galaxy Note8 has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because it has a better 1440 x 2960 resolution, more pixels per inch of screen and a little larger screen.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Note8 shoots clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because although it has a camera with a much worse resolution, it also counts with a way better video definition and a lot larger diafragm aperture to take better photos in poorly lited environments.

Samsung Galaxy Note8's memory for applications and games is very similar to the Huawei Mate 10 Lite one, both of them have a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB and equal internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 10 Lite and Samsung Galaxy Note8 both feature extremely similar batteries performance, although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3340mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, resigning a couple specs and features.
