The Sony Xperia 1 is much better than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, having an 82.6 score against 74.2. Even though the Sony Xperia 1 is newer than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, it is a little heavier and just a bit thicker. The Xperia 1 counts with a much better display than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because it has a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution, a lot better pixels number per display inch and a quite bigger display.
The Xperia 1 counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because it has more internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia 1 has just a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 also has more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite and Xperia 1 have extremely similar batteries duration, although the Xperia 1 has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3340mAh. Xperia 1 counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because although it has a back facing camera with a way worse 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and videos and a much better (4K) video definition.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei Mate 10 Lite, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
