The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has an overall score of 79, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 10 Lite's global score of 74.2. Even being the best phone in this review, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact body is a little heavier and noticeably thicker than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a better looking display than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2160 resolution, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a little higher pixel density.
Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with just a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 10 Lite. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount. The Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots much better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because it has a back-facing camera with a better 19 megapixels resolution, a much higher 3840x2160 video definition and a bigger aperture to capture better low light captures.
Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit more memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has an external memory slot that admits up to 400 GB. The Huawei Mate 10 Lite features just a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 16% larger battery size.
