Sony Xperia XZs has a global score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 10 Lite's 74.2 overall score. Even though Sony Xperia XZs and Huawei Mate 10 Lite were released with only 7 months difference, the Sony Xperia XZs design is a bit lighter but also a little thicker than Huawei Mate 10 Lite.
Xperia XZs counts with a screen that is just as good as the screen in Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because although the Xperia XZs has a little smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate 10 Lite has a much greater storage for games and applications than Xperia XZs, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite has a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZs, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite also has a greater number of cores (and faster). Huawei Mate 10 Lite counts with just a little better battery duration than Xperia XZs, because it has a 3340mAh battery capacity.
Xperia XZs takes a lot better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because it has a way higher (4K) video quality, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos and a back camera with more mega pixels.
Although Sony Xperia XZs is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 10 Lite. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZs, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, resigning some specs and features.
