Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has an overall score of 76.6, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite's 74.2 general score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's construction is newer than the Huawei Mate 10 Lite's, although it's heavier and somewhat thicker. Huawei Mate 10 Lite counts with a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite also has 1 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 2160px resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch. Huawei Mate 10 Lite features just a bit more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and videos and a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better battery performance than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, because it has a 50% larger battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 10 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei Mate 10 Lite. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, resigning some features and specs.
