Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design has an overall score of 80.1, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL's 78.9 overall score. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version, so it provides some extra features. Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design's design is just a bit thinner than the Google Pixel 3a XL, although it is just a little heavier and was released only 18 months before.
The Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design features a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel 3a XL. They have the same screen pixels density, a screen with the same size and an equal 1080 x 2160 resolution. Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design also has 2 GB more RAM.
Google Pixel 3a XL takes much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light photos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Google Pixel 3a XL also counts with a back facing camera with a higher resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos.
The Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 192 GB more internal storage. Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design counts with a bit better battery life than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
