Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, getting a general score of 83.3 against 80.1. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version while Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design has Android 9.0 Pie. Xiaomi Mi 8 is a a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter phone than Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, even when they were released with only a couple of months difference.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, and although they both have the same screen density, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a little higher 1080 x 2248 resolution and a quite bigger display. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little better performance than Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design. They have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 8's memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design's one, they have equal internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a lot better camera than Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light photography and video, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality photos.
Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design counts with longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has an 18% larger battery size.
