Comparison review
Huawei Mate 10 Pro is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, having a general score of 79.2 against 78.7. Even though Huawei Mate 10 Pro is newer than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it is a little bit heavier and a bit thicker. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit better screen than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels number in each inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's storage capacity for apps and games is just as good as Huawei Mate 10 Pro's one, both of them have equal internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Huawei Mate 10 Pro feature really similar CPUs, they have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's battery performance is very similar to Huawei Mate 10 Pro's battery life.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro captures a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same back camera sensor size, the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro also has a much larger camera aperture.
