Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has an overall score of 81.7, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro's 79.2 general score. Samsung Galaxy S8's body has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, but it is somewhat lighter. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro also has more RAM memory.
The Galaxy S8 has a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a greater number of pixels per inch of display. The Samsung Galaxy S8 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing images and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a same resolution back facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also counts with a larger back camera sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with slightly more memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
