Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus is much better than Huawei Mate 10, with a global score of 87.1 against 78.9. Although the Apple iPhone 8 Plus and the Huawei Mate 10 were released only a couple of months apart, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus body is a little heavier but a little thinner than the Huawei Mate 10. IPhone 8 Plus has a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with a little bit better display than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a bit brighter display, a quite higher amount of pixels in each screen inch, a bit bigger screen and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. IPhone 8 Plus shoots slightly better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images and/or video in poorly lited situations and a smaller back camera sensor taking worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better 60 fps video frame rate.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Huawei Mate 10 has a much longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2691mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 10. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei Mate 10, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
