Comparison review
Huawei Mate 10 is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a, having a 78.9 score against 78.8. Both phones we are comparing here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 10 has the older 10 version and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11 version. The Huawei Mate 10 construction has the same thickness than Google Pixel 3a, but it is extremely heavier.
Huawei Mate 10 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 3a. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU. The Huawei Mate 10 has a better screen than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a quite better number of pixels per inch of display, a little bit bigger display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Google Pixel 3a has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Google Pixel 3a also counts with a back camera with more mega-pixels and a larger camera sensor. The Huawei Mate 10 features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB.
Huawei Mate 10 has improved battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 10 is a better device, it costs more money than Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 3a. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 10, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3a, letting go some features and specifications.
