Google Pixel 4 XL is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 10, having a global score of 82.9 against 78.9. The Google Pixel 4 XL design has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 10, but it's a bit heavier. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has more RAM.
The Huawei Mate 10 features a little sharper display than Google Pixel 4 XL, although it has a little bit smaller display, a just a little lower pixel density and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Google Pixel 4 XL captures clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Google Pixel 4 XL also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality pictures and videos and a camera with a higher resolution.
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 256 GB. Huawei Mate 10 counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel 4 XL, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei Mate 10, giving up a couple features and specifications.
