Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 10, getting a score of 79.5 against 78.9. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 20 has 9.0 Pie version and Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10. Huawei Mate 20's body is newer, but just a little heavier and just a little thicker than Huawei Mate 10.
Huawei Mate 10 features just a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little darker screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a higher screen pixel density. The Huawei Mate 10 has a little bit better storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little faster processor than Huawei Mate 10. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Huawei Mate 20 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low light images and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a back camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a lot bigger sensor.
Huawei Mate 20 features a battery duration that is very similar to the Huawei Mate 10 one.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10, resigning some features and specs.
