Comparison review
The Huawei P10 Plus has an overall score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10's 78.9 score. Huawei P10 Plus's body is lighter and somewhat thinner than the Huawei Mate 10, although both were only released with a couple of months difference. Huawei Mate 10 features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a just a bit lower screen density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 2560, the Huawei Mate 10 also counts with a little bit bigger display.
Huawei P10 Plus counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 256 GB, the Huawei P10 Plus also has 128 GB internal storage. Huawei P10 Plus features a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P10 Plus also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Huawei Mate 10 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 12 mega pixels, the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and videos in low-light situations.
The Huawei Mate 10 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P10 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
