Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Pro is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 10, getting a overall score of 81.4 against 78.9. The Huawei P20 Pro is a just a little thinner and just a little lighter device than the Huawei Mate 10, even when both were released with only a couple months difference. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 OS.
Huawei Mate 10 features a brighter display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Huawei P20 Pro features a bit faster processor than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei P20 Pro captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way higher resolution camera in the back.
Huawei Mate 10 features a little bit more memory for games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 256 GB. Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei Mate 10 both have extremely similar batteries.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei P20 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10, giving up a couple features and specifications.
