Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is slightly better than Huawei Mate 10, getting an 86.4 score against 78.9. Huawei P40's body is incredibly newer and just a little lighter, but also a bit thicker than Huawei Mate 10. These phones have the same Android 10 OS. Huawei Mate 10 has a much better display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a just a little more pixels per inch of display.
The Huawei Mate 10 features just a bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P40 counts with a bit faster processor than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P40 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 10 features just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has a 5% bigger battery size. Huawei P40 takes greater photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back camera with a lot higher 50 megapixels resolution, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Huawei P40 costs a little more than the Huawei Mate 10, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
