Comparison review
The LG Velvet is better than the Huawei Mate 10, with an 87.1 score against 78.9. LG Velvet's body is notably newer, just a little thinner and a little bit lighter than Huawei Mate 10. The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a more vivid screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
LG Velvet has a little better performance than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG Velvet also has more RAM. The LG Velvet counts with a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The LG Velvet counts with a little better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 10, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The LG Velvet has a superior camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting images and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG Velvet also counts with a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a way larger camera sensor which offers a way better photo and video quality.
LG Velvet costs a bit more money than the Huawei Mate 10, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
