Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 10 has a general score of 78.9, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Alpha's global score of 76.3. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 10 has the previous 10 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Huawei Mate 10's body is thicker and extremely heavier than the Galaxy Alpha.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit superior processing unit than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has less CPU cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU. The Huawei Mate 10 has just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a much higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a larger screen.
Huawei Mate 10 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same resolution camera in the back and the same video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a much bigger aperture for better images and videos in low light situations.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that admits up to 256 GB. Huawei Mate 10 has a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 1860mAh.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, Huawei Mate 10 is also a lot cheaper.
