Galaxy Note 3 is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10, having a score of 80.7 against 78.9. These devices have Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 3 has the previous 5.0 version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version. The Galaxy Note 3 construction is a little bit lighter than the Huawei Mate 10, but it's just a bit thicker and was released 4 years before.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 10 also counts with more RAM. The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a higher pixel density, a little larger display and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with a quite bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 256 GB. Huawei Mate 10 and Galaxy Note 3 count with very similar cameras, because although the Galaxy Note 3 has a way tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or videos in poorly lited situations and a smaller back camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, it also counts with a better 13 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Huawei Mate 10 features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh.
Galaxy Note 3 costs a bit more than Huawei Mate 10, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
