Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 10's 78.9 score. Both devices we compare here include Android OS, but Galaxy Note 5 has the previous 5.1 version and Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version. Despite of the fact that Galaxy Note 5 is much older than Huawei Mate 10, it's construction is just a bit lighter and a little thinner.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a little bit greater pixels amount in each inch in the display. The Huawei Mate 10 features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.

The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a larger number of faster cores. Huawei Mate 10 counts with improved battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a much higher 16 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a bigger sensor capturing better quality photographs and videos.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Huawei Mate 10, resigning a couple specifications.
