Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a global score of 80.4, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 10's 78.9 overall score. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a a bit thinner and somewhat lighter cellphone than Huawei Mate 10, even when both of them were only released 4 months apart. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a processing unit that's very similar to Huawei Mate 10's processor, both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
The Huawei Mate 10 has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a little lower display density, and they both have the same resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, the Huawei Mate 10 also counts with a little bigger display. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition and Huawei Mate 10 feature extremely similar memory for applications and games, both of them have equal internal memory and an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB.
Huawei Mate 10 features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 10 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing worse quality images, and they both have a same resolution back camera, the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 10 also counts with a bigger camera aperture.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 10. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei Mate 10, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
