Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than Huawei Mate 10, with a score of 83 against 78.9. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is better than the Huawei Mate 10, we must tell that it is also a just a little heavier and just a bit thicker cellphone. These phones work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 10 features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note8, although it has a little smaller display, a little worse resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a little worse amount of pixels per display inch.

Galaxy Note8 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light images, and they both have a camera with a 12 MP resolution, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Note8 also counts with a bigger camera sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with as much storage capacity for applications and games as Huawei Mate 10, both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 10 features greater battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei Mate 10, letting go a couple specifications.
