The Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10's 78.9 overall score. The Galaxy S5 is a noticeably lighter cellphone than Huawei Mate 10, but they are equally thin. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 has newer 4.4.2 version and Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10.
Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a way lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB and more internal memory. The Huawei Mate 10 features a superior battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Galaxy S5 features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a lot smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera in the back and a larger sensor taking better quality photos and videos.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy S5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Huawei Mate 10, giving up some features and specifications.
