Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10, getting an 82.6 score against 78.9. Xperia 1's construction has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 10, but it is a little bit lighter. Xperia 1 features a little faster processor than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 also has more RAM memory.
Xperia 1 has a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has way less brightness, it also counts with a greater pixels quantity per inch of display, a better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a quite larger screen. The Xperia 1 takes slightly better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has lower 24 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the same video resolution and a same resolution camera, the Xperia 1 also counts with a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Xperia 1 counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Huawei Mate 10 counts with better battery performance than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei Mate 10. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Huawei Mate 10, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
