Comparison review

The Xperia 5 II has a global score of 87.2, which is much better than Huawei Mate 10's overall score of 78.9. The Xperia 5 II is a newer cellphone, and it's also a little thinner and lighter than the Huawei Mate 10. Xperia 5 II has a little better performance than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a bit greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. Xperia 5 II has a very superior memory for applications and games than Huawei Mate 10, because it has a SD card slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal storage.

The Sony Xperia 5 II features a battery lifetime that is just as good as the Huawei Mate 10 one. The Sony Xperia 5 II takes better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia 5 II also counts with a lot larger sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality and higher video frame rate.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 10. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Huawei Mate 10, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
