The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10's overall score of 78.9. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer cellphone than Huawei Mate 10, but it's noticeably thicker and a lot heavier. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit superior processing unit than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much greater screen pixel density, a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a little bit more brightness. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 400 GB.

If you are trying to save some money, you can get Huawei Mate 10, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
