Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 10 has an overall score of 78.9, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z3's 77.3 overall score. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 10 has older 10 version and Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4 version. Huawei Mate 10 is a extremely newer and a little bit thinner device than the Sony Xperia Z3, but it is also just a bit heavier.
The Xperia Z3 has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 10, although it has a little lower display pixel density, less bright screen, a little smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080. Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor.
Xperia Z3 has a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing images and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much higher image and video quality and a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 10 features longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has a 25% larger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 10 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z3. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 10, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xperia Z3, resigning a couple features and specifications.
