Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro has a global score of 90.1, which is much better than the Huawei Mate 10's general score of 78.9. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro construction is notably newer, but noticeably thicker and heavier than Huawei Mate 10. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 10 operating system.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with a quite higher pixel density. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro features a much better memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro has a bit faster CPU than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro also has more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro takes greater videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photos and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro also counts with a back camera with a lot better resolution, a way larger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and better video frame rate.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro counts with improved battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 10, because it has a 25 percent greater battery size.
