Although Huawei Mate 10 is much older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's design is a bit lighter and a little bit thinner. Both phones we are comparing here use the same Android 10 OS (operating system).
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 10 also has more RAM. The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher pixels amount in each display inch.
The Huawei Mate 10 has a bit bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB.
