Google Pixel 3a has a general score of 78.8, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 lite's 76.2 global score. Although the Google Pixel 3a and the Huawei Mate 20 lite were released only a couple months apart, the Google Pixel 3a body is a bit thicker but somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 20 lite. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Google Pixel 3a has the older 11 version while Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Huawei Mate 20 lite features just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. Google Pixel 3a counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2220, it also counts with a bit higher amount of pixels in each inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. Google Pixel 3a features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a lot lower 12.2 mega pixels resolution camera, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Google Pixel 3a also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite features longer battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 3750mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
