The Huawei Mate 20 lite is slightly better than the OnePlus 8 UW, getting a score of 76.2 against 75.9. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, so it offers a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Huawei Mate 20 lite is an older cellphone than OnePlus 8 UW, but Huawei made it a little thinner and a little bit lighter.

OnePlus 8 UW features a way better camera than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution and a much higher (4K) video resolution.
OnePlus 8 UW features a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a 4300mAh battery size.
