The Huawei Mate 20 lite is a bit better than Galaxy J7 Max, having a 76.2 score against 76.1. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 20 lite has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat, providing a couple additional features. Huawei Mate 20 lite is a newer phone, and it's also just a bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy J7 Max.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a bit larger display, a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little bit higher pixels number in each display inch. Huawei Mate 20 lite has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy J7 Max has a bit more powerful CPU than Huawei Mate 20 lite. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. Huawei Mate 20 lite takes a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also counts with a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and higher video frame rate.
