Samsung Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 lite's 76.2 global score. Although it's the best in this review, the Samsung Galaxy M30 body is just a little thicker and a little bit heavier than Huawei Mate 20 lite. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M30 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Huawei Mate 20 lite features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher number of pixels per inch of display and a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy M30, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 has a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy M30 also has 64 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy M30 counts with better battery life than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Huawei Mate 20 lite has a bit better camera than Galaxy M30, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has faster 60 fps video frame rate, a back camera with a much higher resolution and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and videos.
