Both phones we are comparing use Android operating system, but the ZTE Axon 30 5G has the previous 11 version and Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The ZTE Axon 30 5G has a much better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the ZTE Axon 30 5G also has 2 GB more RAM memory. ZTE Axon 30 5G features a lot better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a just a little worse number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little larger display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite takes much better photographs and videos than ZTE Axon 30 5G, although it has a back facing camera with a lot worse resolution. Huawei Mate 20 lite has more storage for games and applications than ZTE Axon 30 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The ZTE Axon 30 5G counts with greater battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a 20 percent greater battery capacity.
