Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is slightly better than Google Pixel 3a XL, getting an 82.9 score against 78.9. Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is better than Google Pixel 3a XL, we must note that it is also a heavier and a little thicker phone. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features just a bit better screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a little bit bigger display and a greater display density.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a better camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same size camera aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a lot larger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs and a lot higher resolution back camera.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit longer battery performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
