The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's global score of 78.7. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a newer phone than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit faster processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a quite better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a bigger screen and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a bigger camera aperture for better captures and video in poorly lited environments, a lot better resolution camera in the back and a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Huawei Mate 20 Pro have really similar storage for games and applications, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit better battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, Huawei Mate 20 Pro is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes this phone a great choice.
