Huawei Mate X2 has a general score of 89.1, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro's 82.9 global score. Even though Huawei Mate X2 is a lot heavier than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, it's just a little thinner and a lot newer. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit faster processor than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a little sharper display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a bit worse 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch. The Huawei Mate X2 has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro captures slightly better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a back facing camera with a worse 40 mega pixels resolution and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture for better images and video in low-light situations.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei Mate 20 Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, letting go some features and specs.
