Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is just a bit better than Huawei nova 5T, getting an 82.9 score against 80.8. Even being the best we compare here, we must highlight that it's also an older, a little heavier and a little thicker phone. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit sharper display than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a bit bigger display, more pixels per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution.
The Huawei nova 5T has as much memory to install applications and games as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro one, both of them have equal internal memory capacity. The Huawei nova 5T and Huawei Mate 20 Pro both count with quite similar CPUs, both have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery size.
Huawei nova 5T features a camera that's just as good as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro one, because although the Huawei nova 5T has a smaller sensor offering a lower image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, a same size aperture and the same video frame rates, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a better resolution.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is more expensive than Huawei nova 5T, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei nova 5T. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, else you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei nova 5T, resigning some specifications.
