Comparison review
Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro's 82.9 score. Huawei P40 is a newer device, and it's also just a little lighter and a little thinner than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P40, because it has a better pixel density, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a little bit bigger display.
Huawei P40 counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount. Huawei P40 features as much storage capacity for apps and games as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, they have equal 128 GB internal storage. Huawei P40 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking images in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way larger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality, a camera in the back with more megapixels and better video frame rate.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has an 11 percent greater battery size.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Huawei P40 is also very cheap compared to the other devices, which makes it a no doubt choice.
