The Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro's 82.9 score. Huawei P40 Pro is a newer cellphone than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but it is a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker. Huawei P40 Pro counts with a little better performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. Huawei P40 Pro shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with faster video frame rates, a camera with more mega pixels and a lot bigger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures.
The Huawei P40 Pro features as much storage to install games and applications as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity. The Huawei P40 Pro's battery life is just as good as the battery life in Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
