Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a general score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 global score. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is older and just a bit thicker than the LG G8X ThinQ, it's design is still a little lighter. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a little sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a higher number of pixels per inch of display.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM. The LG G8X ThinQ has a much better memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a lot better 40 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a much bigger camera sensor capturing much better quality videos and photos.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit longer battery duration than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 5 percent more battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8X ThinQ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG G8X ThinQ, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
