Comparison review

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is slightly better than the LG V40 ThinQ, getting a general score of 82.9 against 81.2. Even being the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro construction is somewhat heavier and thicker than LG V40 ThinQ. The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 processing cores.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a screen that is very similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro one, they have the same 1440 x 3120 resolution, the same amount of pixels in each display inch and a same size screen. Huawei Mate 20 Pro captures much better pictures and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with a way better 40 MP resolution and a much larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality.

LG V40 ThinQ features a much greater storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has greater battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 27% larger battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V40 ThinQ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG V40 ThinQ, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
