The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a global score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto Z3's 77.6 score. Even being the best we are comparing here, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is an a lot thicker and heavier phone than the Motorola Moto Z3. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto Z3, because it has a bit bigger screen, a better pixels count in each inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution.
The Moto Z3 counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro takes greater videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way better image and video quality and a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photos.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a much better battery performance than Moto Z3, because it has a 40% bigger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto Z3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto Z3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Moto Z3, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
