Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A70, with a global score of 82.9 against 76.9. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro body is a little thicker and a little heavier than Samsung Galaxy A70. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a better pixel amount per display inch.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A70. Both have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a greater camera than Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much bigger camera sensor shooting lot better quality photographs.
Samsung Galaxy A70 counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A70 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A70 has just a little better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy A70. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A70, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
