Galaxy A9 (2018) is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, getting an 85.2 score against 82.9. Even though Galaxy A9 (2018) and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro were released with only 1 months difference, Galaxy A9 (2018) is a bit lighter and a bit thinner. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a little larger screen, a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and more pixels per inch of display.
The Galaxy A9 (2018) counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit better CPU than Galaxy A9 (2018). They have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.
